Getting close to nature

“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
- Dorothea Lange
We love to wander around in the woods, in the fields, silently, suddenly stopping when we hear a rustle, making us look up in trees and into the forest. Was it an animal we heard? These moments may seem boring to you, but we love it. These are our little adventures. Sometimes we have to look through 600 pictures or even more when we come home after a morning photographing and there are times we take none. It’s the thrill of not knowing what to expect, seeking, finding and photographing the animal.
“Only photograph what you love.”
- Tim Walker
He met her in a high school where they both were located to do an internship to become a teacher. He asked her why she didn't ask him on a date. She laughed and asked him, he said yes. This is where their adventure together started. Mandy already had a camera, but only used it on holiday. Kevin saw things like birds and flowers she never noticed. He helped her see, she helped him taking pictures. Now they both see and photograph, together.
Besides photographing, Mandy teaches pupils French and Kevin teaches them History
